Child - Sacrifice for a Vampire God

Child-sacrifice for aVampire God

The Prince of Peace commented thus upon children:

Suffer the little children to come unto Me. Woe to anyone who leads one of these little ones astray: better for him that a millstone were cast around his neck and he were cast into the see. (Luke: 19:14)

Those words concerning the innocence of childhood, and how sacred it needs to be, are vitally important for our present times. The words imply a comment about future karma, for anyone who does thus violate it.

I just wanted to say that by way of prelude.

*************

Yahweh has His usual homicidal attitude towards family problems. A bolshy son, who won’t obey you? Simple, just take him to the perimeter of the city and stone him to death, with help from the city elders.  (Deuteronomy 21: 18-21). A daughter who might be having an affair you don’t approve of? Just burn her (“And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father and shall be burnt with fire” (Deuteronomy, 21:9) There is a whole edifying chapter on the virtue of burning your own daughter alive, in the Book of Judges, 11.
The babies of foreigners? Just dash their brains out:
“her little ones were dashed in pieces at the head of every street”; (Nahum, 3:10)
Those kids were from Ninevah – and ditto for Babylon:
"Their infants will be dashed in pieces before their eyes" (Isaiah, 13:16).
The vampire-predator anti-god from Hell enjoys these visions of little children being dashed to bits.

A certain king Manahem came across a city ‘which opened not to him’ and so therefore he ripped open all of the pregnant women: 2 Kings 15:16. Not surprisingly, he was promoted to king of Israel right after that valiant deed. Then there were the charming basketfuls of child heads, kept outside the city gates – children of Ahab murdered by order of Jehu, promoted by Elisha (2 Kings 10:7). These stories probably had a similar function to today’s horror movies - though the latter do not claim divine sanction.

An archfiend from Hell draws nourishment from human horror, is fed by that emotion.

Child Sacrifice
The Book of Proverbs is believed to be the oldest OT text. Here it is ranting about what the Hebrews in Canaan have done wrong: “They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.” (Proverbs, 106, 36-7) That’s plain enough.

In Micah's time the Levite priests were demanding sacrifice of the firstborn to Jehovah:
“Wherewith shall I come before the Lord and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams or with ten thousands of rivers of oil. Shall I give my firstborn for my transgressions, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? It hath been told to thee, O man, what is good and what the Lord doth require of thee: only to do justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy God.” (Micah 6:6-7)
So the prophet Micah is objecting to this practice.

In the Book of Ezekiel, the Vampire God from Hell confesses His dark intent:
“Moreover I gave them statutes that were not good and ordinances by which they could not have life; and I defiled them through their very gifts in making them offer by fire all their first-born, that I might horrify them; I did it that they might know that I am the LORD. (20:25-6)

Jerusalem was Yahweh’s bride, but alas she misbehaved: “And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured” (Ez 16:12)

In Exodus, god claims that
Whatever is the first to open the womb among the people of Israel, both of man and of beast, is mine… you shall set apart to the LORD all that first opens the womb. All the firstlings of your cattle that are males shall be the LORD's. Every firstling of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. Every first-born of man among your sons you shall redeem. (Exodus, 13:1,12-13)
This horrific text hovers with deliberate ambiguity between saying, every firstborn is to be sacrificed to me, and merely saying that it can be ‘redeemed’ by paying the appropriate tax to the Levite priests. There is a follow-through in the book of Leviticus, where a blood-hungry God complains, that this is not merely a tax-raising scheme, O no – He needs the prana, the psychic energy released by the slaughter:
But no devoted thing that a man devotes to the LORD, of anything that he has, whether of man or beast, or of his inherited field, shall be sold or redeemed; every devoted thing is most holy to the LORD. No one devoted, who is to be utterly destroyed from among men, shall be ransomed; he shall be put to death. (Lev 27:28-9)
Thus the primal fear had to be maintained, it could never be ‘just’ a tax-raising scheme.

Blood and Terror
We'd better quote Douglas Reed here, clearly explaining that which Christians, to their shame, never face up to:
But in Exodus something of the first importance appears: this promise is sealed in blood, and from this point on blood runs like a river through the books of The Law. Moses is depicted as “taking the blood and sprinkling it on the people” and saying, “Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.” The hereditary and perpetual office of the Aaronite priesthood is founded in this blood-ritual: Jehovah says unto Moses, “And take unto thee Aaron thy brother and his sons with him that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
The manner of a priest's consecration is then laid down in detail by Jehovah himself, according to the Levitical scribes:
He must take a bullock and two rams “without blemish,” have them butchered “before the Lord,” and on the altar burn one ram and the innards of the bullock. The blood of the second ram is to be put “upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons and upon the thumb of their right hands and upon the great toe of their right foot” and sprinkled “upon the altar round about … and upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons and the garments of his sons.”
The picture of blood-bespattered priests, thus given, is worth contemplation. Even at this distance of time the question prompts itself: why was this insistent emphasis laid on blood-sacrifice in the books of the Law which the Levites produced. The answer seems to lie in the sect's uncanny genius for instilling fear by terror; for the very mention of “blood,” in such contexts, made the faithful or superstitious Judahite tremble for his own son!
It is all spelt out in Exodus, this claim of the fanatical priests to the firstborn of their followers:
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

The Conscience of Seymour Light spoke, saying: You have gone too far this time. God clearly said in Deuteronomy: "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire", (18:10)

Seymour light replied: Please quote this in context! It concerns instructions on ethnic cleansing of stolen lands - by the anti-god from Hell: ""When you come into the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations." etc, then: "because of these abominable practices the LORD your God is driving them out before you. ... For these nations, which you are about to dispossess", etc. This is the time-honoured justification used by empire, of alleging child-sacrifice by the enemy. Whereas, we have here looked at five or six OT books, indicating that this practice was happening, with several of them showing Yahweh's approval.
